Our Footprint
Our precious landscape is important to us, and we're committed to sustainable tourism. Here are a few things we're doing to minimise our footprint and make sure our land is preserved for future generations.

Plant a tree and give the gift of giving back!
While on tour with us, plant a native tree at the West Coast Treetop Walkway for only $10. Hokitika Scenic Tours provides native seedlings - Choose from Kahikatea, Manuka, Totara, Harakeke, Wineberry, and more. With all funds raised Hokitika Scenic Tours then purchases Eco Goodnature humane automated traps for placement at the Treetop and other areas on the West Coast. Let's make sure our endangered wildlife flourish by eradicating pests. A certificate of appreciation will be presented upon completion. For more information or inquiries, get in touch.
Māori Gardens Coming soon!
Hokitika Scenic Tours @ West Coast Treetop Walkway
Hokitika Scenic Tours is in the process of building a set of Māori gardens for both edible plants and vegetables, as well as native plants that are traditionally used for medicinal purposes by Māori. Soon, people will be able to view, reflect and be educated on some of our heritage. This is a joint venture with West Coast Treetop Walkway and supported by a local iwi rongoa specialist. We look forward to sharing the gardens with our clients soon.
